A practice that runs from one secure place: patients book online or in the app, the doctor sees the patient's history before they walk in, and the script goes straight to the pharmacy the patient has chosen from the practice's approved list, with no paper to lose. Health information is special personal information under POPIA, so patient records stay on a server in the practice itself, encrypted, with every look at them recorded. Online bookings, the apps and the pharmacies reach the practice only through a narrow, secured API that hands over the minimum each task needs.

Online bookings see free times, not histories; a pharmacy receives only the script it must dispense; the patient app shows only that patient's own appointments and scripts. The practice server connects out, so nothing on the internet can reach the records directly, and every request is logged.
